Receive Early Alerts Before They Get Up
Falls are a serious concern, and when preventing them every second counts. To receive an early alert before your loved one is fully out of bed, you can change the location of pad on the mattress. Position the pad under your loved one’s shoulder blades to receive an early alert when they start to sit up. Alternatively, position the pad under the hips and a few inches from the edge of the bed to receive an alert when they are sitting on the edge of the bed and about to stand up.
How it Works
The extra large 20″ x 30″ pressure sensitive pad should be placed under the patient’s hips or shoulder blades, under the fitted sheet. When pressure is removed from the pad, a wireless signal is sent to the caregiver pager (TL-2020P), which alerts the caregiver that assistance is needed.
